Stories of God’s Faithfulness
Testimonies
Every testimony is a reminder that God is present in the details of our lives. Here, we share true stories of answered prayer, healing, provision and new beginnings—offered with permission and handled with care.
Healing, Protection and a New Beginning
God Made a Way for My Family
M. — Testimony shared with permission
For a long time, my family and I walked through one difficult season after another. I underwent surgery to remove gallstones and needed further tests to confirm that my liver had recovered. The surgery was successful, and I thank God for carrying me through it.
Later, my first twin needed another heart procedure. During her earlier surgery, a small opening had intentionally been left because closing it completely at once could have placed her heart under too much strain. As the new procedure approached, my second twin was also unwell with a fever. It was an overwhelming time, but I continued trusting God and received consistent prayer, encouragement and support from Pastor Margaret.
By God’s grace, my daughter’s heart procedure was successful. Her cardiologist confirmed that the opening had closed completely. She was discharged from the hospital, and the fever troubling her twin also went away. I was overwhelmed by God’s love and grateful that He had preserved the lives of my children.
At the same time, our family was preparing to relocate from South Africa to the United Kingdom. An old immigration restriction—which had previously been acknowledged as a mistake—unexpectedly appeared again, and I feared it would affect our applications. Yet God made a way for us: every member of our family received a visa within ten days.
We travelled safely and arrived in the United Kingdom ready to begin a new chapter. Through the surgeries, health concerns, immigration uncertainty and relocation, God remained faithful. The prayers and encouragement I received gave me comfort and strength when I needed them most.
I give God all the glory for healing, protection, provision and a new beginning for my family.
Deliverance, Reassurance and Restored Peace
From Fear and Oppression to Peace
O. — Testimony shared with permission
There was a period when I experienced frightening episodes at night. I would appear to be asleep, yet I felt awake and oppressed, unable to rest peacefully. The experiences left me troubled and afraid, so I reached out for prayer.
Pastor Margaret prayed with me and continued to encourage me to trust God. As we prayed, those episodes came to an end. The fear and oppression lifted, and I was able to rest peacefully again. I thank God for delivering me and restoring my peace.
Not long afterward, I faced another worrying situation concerning my health. An examination identified swelling around my breast and armpit area. One assessment indicated that it was not cancerous, but I was advised to undergo further tests to understand the swelling properly.
Although I was frightened, I continued attending my medical appointments while Pastor Margaret prayed with me and encouraged me not to panic. We prayed and fasted, trusting God as I waited for the results.
After repeated examinations and follow-up assessments, I was told that there was no concerning abnormality in my breast. The lump and swelling that had caused so much fear were no longer found. I was well.
Today, I remain healthy and grateful. God brought me through nights of fear, the uncertainty of medical examinations and the anxiety of waiting for results. He replaced my fear with peace and gave me a testimony of restoration.
I give God all the glory for His mercy, deliverance and healing.
